December 2009 . Aunt Jane and uncle Steve were kind enough to invite me to their fab gathering on the 25th. Bonus was meeting Jane's side of the family. Super bonus was Gram and Gramps Thompson being there!
December 2009 . Stacy, John, Anthony, Darryl, Matt and I spend a day in merry olde 1830s London. Or, the Cow Palace version of it. A total costumery blast.
November 2009 . Matt, Jax, and I take on Pulgas Ridge trail before snarfing turkey and cranberry sauce.
November 2009 . Antone and I geek out by going to the Star Trek Exhibit at the San Jose Tech Museum.
November 2009 . Darttan turns 36 and we celebrate with an unforgettable meal at Ubuntu in Napa.
August 2009 . I head off for a 3 day weekend at The W Hotel New Orleans. Just to check it out. Major beignet feasting ensued.
July 2009 . Uncle Steve and some buddies give me good tips on wakeboarding. And then we try riding the surfboard behind the ski boat with Grampa Mel at the helm.
July 2009 . Darryl, Matt, Jax, Anthony and I go looking for this hidden Alameda County caldera. Hot as hell up there.
July 2009 . Darryl, Matt, Jax and I hike all the way up to Cataract Falls in Marin. Amazingly beautiful country. Few people on the trail, dog-friendly. I want to go back and do it again.
June 2009 . Me and the gang biked/walked about 4 miles of streets shut off to cars all Sunday afternoon.
June 2009 . Luke makes a visit down to Copperopolis to see the grandfolk and try some lake wakeboarding.
May 2009 . Jax and I finally get down to Santa Cruz (well, Aptos, really) to see their new place. And walk the dogs along the cliffs over the Pacific. And then have some awesome Mexican food, natch!
May 2009 . Lee, Anthony, Matt and I brave 50 minutes on Hwy 580 to hit Livermore's "Little Camelot" putt-putt.
