John and I got started early with breakfast on Saturday. Then it was down to the Marina Green to watch the "parade of ships". We were hoping for some big metal, but alas, the biggest ship was a mere cruiser class vessel. After some shopping at REI, we jetted back to the Marina to watch the Blue Angels. Ended up parking illegally (note: never drive down there again) and watching from a hillside roost. Good view, and even ran into some friends of John's randomly. No surprise.
